Science Technology Engineering Art and Math (STEAM)

Prescott is known in Oakland for our Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (S.T.E.A.M.) program! We have a Family Science Night and a Science Fair. We go on field trips from the Oakland Zoo to Middle Harbor Park. Prescott also has gardens for our older and younger students for science education.

We have a long partnership with Community Resources for Science (CRS). Scientists and engineers visit our classrooms to lead activities and experiences. In 2022, Prescott was one of 18 schools named as Champions of Discovery by CRS!
